When I'm out taking photos, I usually tell the people I'm taking photos of I'm going to put their photo on my blog. Their usual response is, "What's your blog's address?" I've gotten tired of trying to write down my blog address so many times that I decided to make a business card with the address of my blog and my contact information. I went with this a double sided layout and this is what I designed for the front. I know, it's kind of geeky, but hey, I like it.
Welcome
I made this blog to be able to share my photos with family and friends and tell them a little about the photos I share. It has also become a sort of journal for me as I learn about photography.
I bought my camera in October of 2008 and started this blog in January of 2009. Although I've learned a lot about photography, I'm still working on the fundamentals.
I currently own 1 digital SLR camera.
Nikon D60.
I have 3 lens I use.
AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM.
If I do any major post editing to my photos, I'll post what I did and try to tell how I did it.

I like it too... very nice. (Hope the reverse had Japanese along with your contact info.)
I've long carried similar cards (though mine, for some reason, do not say "Amami Superman") and have never, ever been asked. I've thrust them upon some people, such as the smiling daddy in this post, but as far as I can tell they have never, ever been used.
Oh, it does have Japanese. Especially for my name. I have the furigana of my name and my contact info is in Japanese as well.
I was apprehensive about making a business card like this because I don't have a lot of confidence in my photos. Don't get me wrong, I do have confidence, but not enough to say, "Hey, check out my photos!" to someone I don't know. On the other hand, it gets kind of tiring trying to write down my photoblog's address over and over.
I have some photos that I had printed up and framed that I've hung in my wife's shop. She wanted to put some of these cards in a card holder by her register and, believe it or not, I've already gone through over 100 cards that people picked up because they like my photos. I was astonished. I've already noticed an increase in unique hits on this blog already. I've gotten a few e-mails as well. It's added to my confidence and it makes me want to study more on how I can take better photos. I used to get a rush from motorsports, but this is something completely different and I feel I've found something I like more than cars or bikes. And in all honesty, it's a lot cheaper hobby. Sure cameras and lenses cost a lot, but that's nothing compared to the prices of gas, tires, oil and parts I spend on my cars and bikes. My wife is happy with me doing more photography and less motorsports. I'm happy too.
Onward and Upward!
(Oh, never mind that that is from "Toy Story" not in any of Superman cartoons|comics.)
"To infinity, AND BEYOND!" lol
Thanks
Goes to show just how much I remember; will come back when the redness has gone.
Until then ...
